The Cardiovascular Foundation was formed
by a committed group of people to help the "National Institute
of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD)". The first task it
undertook was to renovate and refurbish the emergency unit
with separate male / female sections.The latest equipment was
inaugurated in January 1999 by Federal Health Minister, Mr.
Jawed Hashmi.
In
November 2000, a new Coronary Care Unit 3 was added
with the help of generous donors. This new unit was inaugurated by the
Federal Health Minister Dr. Abdul Malik Kasi. This is an extremely
modern unit achieved with the help of generous people like you
